JetSpray compressed air and water spray humidifier

JetSpray

In-room compressed air humidifier

The combination of compressed air and water allows the JetSpray to provide rapid moisture evaporation without any risk of wetting. Its fully modulating output offers very accurate humidity control at ±2%RH.

The JetSpray’s fan-free, robust design and self-cleaning nozzles make it ideal for dusty industrial settings. It works effectively with mains or demineralised water and in cold temperature areas.
Spray humidifier for printers

Hygienic by design

Routine flush and drain cycles ensure water cannot remain in the system to stagnate. An air run-on feature leaves the pipework dry when no humidity is required to protect against microbial growth in residual water.

An antibacterial filter treats the incoming water for added protection. This bacteriostatic system provides a lasting cleansing effect throughout the humidifier. An optional ultra-violet water steriliser can also be incorporated on the incoming water supply to inactivate pathogens and viruses.
JetSpray humidifier ideal for printing

Low water consumption

As the JetSpray can operate on potable mains water, it does not need a demineralised water supply to prevent nozzle blockages. This eliminates the wastewater sent to drain from RO water treatment systems and can reduce the overall water consumption of the humidification system by up to 50%.
JetSpray humidifier has self-cleaning nozzles

Self-cleaning nozzles

The JetSpray nozzle uses a self-cleaning pin that prevents blockages by moving through the orifice after each spray cycle. As it is pushed back by the water pressure during operation, it requires no lubrication, unlike piston-driven systems. The nozzles are so robust in operation they carry a 10-year warranty.

JetSpray panel

An IP54-rated cabinet provides convenient access to nozzle controls, with all electronics stored separately above the water and air pipes.

Self-cleaning nozzles

Precision engineered nozzles with a 10-year warranty offer long life, minimal maintenance and are intrinsically safe with no local electrical supply required.

Humidity sensor

A single in-room humidistat or up to three averaging sensors can be used to monitor room conditions and provide accurate humidity control.

Remote user interface

The backlit digital display with keypad offers control, operational details, commissioning, alerts and fault diagnostics. Can be located up to 100m away and controllable via BMS.

Water supply

The JetSpray can operate on any potable water quality without the need for a demineralised supply, minimising water consumption.

Antibacterial water filter

Silver is a powerful bacteriostatic agent with residual effects throughout the pipework, promoting hygienic operation. UV water treatment is also available as an option.

Ultraviolet water treatment

Optional ultraviolet water steriliser can be incorporated on to the incoming water supply line to inactivate pathogens and viruses.

Compressed air supply

Ensures rapid moisture evaporation, highly directional sprays with no risk of drips. The JetSpray uses at least 30% less compressed air than any other similar system.

Drain

Automated drain and purge cycles ensure water cannot stagnate in the system. Air run-on leaves water pipework dry when no humidity is required.

Sumonibarie Tea Factory

Together with our partner Regent Machine Servicing, Condair's JetSpray humidification systems have been installed at the Sumonibarie Tea Factory in Assam, India. Tea production requires carefully controlled environments to ensure the quality of the tea. The JetSpray systems are located in both the CTC room (Crush, tear, curl - a process to enhance flavour), as well as the fermentation room. Thanks to these systems, humidity is controlled to 80%-85%RH in the CTC area, and 90%-95%RH in the fermentation area.

Quotes from our customers

Spray humidifier at Bajrang Tea Factory
Darshananand Holdings Pvt Ltd (Bajrang Tea Factory)Aditya AgarwalDirector

“Before we had the JetSpray humidifier, we were unable to achieve the high humidity levels we needed. Our previous humidification system also tended to cause wet patches on the floor nearby. However, since we had the JetSpray humidifier installed, the area is consistently at 95%RH and we’ve managed to virtually eliminate weight loss from the tea during fermentation. This means the moisture stays in the leaf, improving the tea’s fermentation and enhancing the quality of our finished product. We’ve found the JetSpray humidifier very easy to operate and the use of compressed air in the aerosol ensures we never get any drips from the nozzles or wetting on the floor."

Spray humidifier at Fujifilm printer

Humidity control is important for paper handling consistency when running lighter weight stock on the Jet Press 720S in both the feeder and jetting area. We aim to maintain an RH of between 40% and 60%. Below this could potentially cause an increase in paper handling issues on light weight paper.

Once the humidifier was up and running correctly, it has performed well. It now easily and quickly gets the room up to the required RH and maintains this after start-up.
